Servant Leader Agreement: Foundations Church

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." -Mark 10:45

This Servant Leader Agreement is a declaration of commitment by someone who serves in a leadership capacity at Foundations Church. By signing this document, the Servant Leader affirms their dedication to the spiritual, moral, and community values upheld by Foundations Church.


Pursuit of Faith: I commit to actively pursuing a deeper faith and understanding of Jesus, embracing His teachings as the foundation of my leadership.

Integrity: I pledge to pursue a life that is becoming free from deliberate or intentional sin, representing the values of Foundations Church with my actions.

Commitment to Service: I will allocate time for training, ensure my availability to those I lead, and fulfill the roles and responsibilities entrusted to me by Foundations Church.

Engagement: I understand that my role requires a dedication of time and presence, and I commit to being present, both physically and mentally, for the duties of my leadership.

Receptivity to Coaching: I am committed to being open to coaching in my role as a Servant Leader and am receptive to life coaching that can further my personal and spiritual development.

Continuous Improvement: I accept that growth is a constant journey and I am ready to learn and adapt in my service and leadership.

Personal Faith Decision: I have made a personal decision to follow Jesus, and my leadership will reflect His example and teachings.

Spiritual Role Model: As a leader, I acknowledge that I am a role model for others, and I will lead in a way that encourages and strengthens their faith journey. I will be intentional in how I represent Jesus and Foundations Church well in my in-person and online interactions.

Alignment with Church Values: I have reviewed and am fully aligned with the mission and Core Beliefs of Foundations Church and will lead others in a manner that furthers our collective mission.

Intentional Leadership: I am dedicated to intentionally guiding and inspiring others within the church to live out the mission of Foundations Church in their lives.

Character Development: I am committed to ongoing development of my character and competence as a leader within Foundations Church.

Emotional Intelligence: I will work on my emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills, to better serve and lead my team.

Conflict Management: I recognize that managing conflict effectively is essential to leadership, and I commit to developing and employing constructive conflict resolution skills.

AGREEMENT

By agreeing to this form, I affirm my commitment to these principles and to serve as a Servant Leader at Foundations Church with honor, dedication, and a spirit of servanthood.
