Pathfinders is more than just a small Men’s Group.
Jesus said their are two paths; a wide path that leads to destruction, and a narrow path that leads to righteousness with God and Eternal life. Matthew 7:13-14. This is our goal.
Our purpose is to serve Christ, serve others and serve you.
We meet every Thursday night at 6:30pm and you will have the opportunity to connect with other men in our community here at Foundations church; not just our small group.
• To kick off our small groups, we usually meet for 45 minutes and each man has an opportunity to "check-in."
â—¦ A check-in gives a brother a chance to lay down his armor and share what is on his heart in a safe environment.
â–ª There is no judgement
â–ª There is no advice given, without your permission
â–ª There is support, love, and prayer
Many of the men of Pathfinders have stated, "At first I came to this group for myself, but now I realize I need to be here for the brother beside me."
We strive to follow our Saviour who gave us the greatest example of love and stated, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35).
• During the final 45 minutes:
â—¦ We traditionally discuss a biblical topic, read a Christian book, or talk about logistics of our service projects, or study a book from the bible.
We must all remember we are all in a battle against Satan, and when men isolate and say they can figure it out on my own, we often fall into the devil’s traps (1 Peter 5:8).
Men, we can’t do this journey on our own! We must stand together and remember that in Christ, we can do all things.
