Rescheduled (Again): Dog Friendly "Hike" at Mehaffey Park

Hi Ladies!

We've had a few requests for hikes with dogs so let's give it a try. There are some challenges when bringing dogs along on hikes, so we are going to keep it simple.  

If your dog is friendly, bring them along for an evening of play and a walk at Mehaffey Dog Park. Meet us at the dog park at 5:45pm. We'll let them socialize off leash in the dog park and burn some energy then we will leash them up for a hike around the park. 

Please keep in mind, all dogs are different. Some want to lead; some want to sniff leisurely...thus pace will be varied. Please bring your smile and patience as we try something new. 

Ample parking for Mehaffey Park is available off of West 22nd in Loveland. Dogs need to be on a 6’ leash; poop bagged (or maybe even double bagged for smell?).

Note: If you prefer to meet for the “hiking” portion only of the event, we will aim to begin the walk around 6:10pm. Please meet us at the dog park area of the park.

Sunset this night will be at 6:43pm. Let's praise God for another day and another sunset, together.

Emily will be wearing a pink tank top and her brown pudelpointer (Crockett) will be her dog companion.
